This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for bookings made with Travel Point Hajj Umrah & Ziyarat. Because most of your money is paid on to airlines, hotels and visa authorities, refunds depend largely on their rules.
How to Cancel
Cancellation requests must be sent in writing – by e-mail to tphandvs@gmail.com or on WhatsApp – by the person who made the booking. The date we receive your written request is taken as the cancellation date.
Hajj & Umrah Packages
- The visa fee is not refundable once the visa application has been submitted or the visa has been issued.
- Air tickets are refunded as per the airline's fare rules; group fares are often non-refundable.
- Hotel charges are refunded as per the hotel's cancellation policy for the dates booked.
- Our service charges are not refundable once the booking has been processed.
Holiday Packages
Cancellation charges depend on how close to the departure date you cancel and on the rules of the airlines and hotels in your package. The exact charges are given in your booking confirmation.
Air Tickets
Air ticket cancellations, date changes and name corrections are charged as per the airline's rules plus our service fee. No-show tickets are usually not refundable.
Visa Services
Visa fees and service charges are not refundable once the application has been submitted, whatever the outcome of the application.
Cancellation by Us
If we have to cancel a departure (for example because of government restrictions or too few travellers), you may choose an alternative date or package, or a refund of the amount paid, less any charges that the suppliers do not refund to us.
Refund Process
- Refunds are made to the same bank account / UPI ID the payment came from, or to the account of the person who made the booking.
- Refunds are processed after we receive the refund from the airline, hotel or other supplier – usually within 15 to 30 working days.
- Bank charges, if any, are deducted from the refund amount.
